Christian reason.

The gospel does in truth proclaim the redemption of reason. Obscurantism is always evil, and willful error is always sin. All truth is God's truth; facts, as such, are sacred, and nothing is more un-Christian than to run away from them.
J.I. Packer, "Fundamentalism" and the Word of God, p. 126

I finished J.I. Packer's book a few days ago and hoping to post some thoughts. I found the book incredibly useful.

General Updates:
  • Yesterday my exciting moments were built around my meals. Justin Sok introduced me to the wonders of Sizzex for lunch, and then Linda dropped by and we had a home-cooked Ethiopian dinner at the batcave.
  • Prayed with Matt and Scott this morning, hoping to make it a weekly routine.
  • Going to man the phones at the church this afternoon for Kasey.
Reading Updates:
  • I picked up Copleston's History of Philosophy again, which I tried starting a year ago.
  • Finished Hebrews and starting up the reading through the gospel of John during my quiet times.
