This past evening service was dedicated to Michael Lawrence; it was a bittersweet time with a definitely sweet reception with live jazz music and awesome Indian food. At the end of the members meeting, Mark Dever took out a roughed up box and said it was a present for TML. Out came an old, large volume of John Flavel's Mystery of Providence. As Michael was opening the book to find out the publishing year (which I think was 1701?) and Mark was peering over his shoulder...
